Scan a Thai meal, then check what the photo missed
A plate of chicken rice is easy to photograph. The rice portion, cooking oil and sauce are harder to judge from a picture. Use a food scan as a starting point you can correct, rather than a number you have to accept.
Get the whole meal in the frame
Use even light and keep the plate visible. Include drinks and side dishes you want to record. If a sauce or topping is hidden, keep that detail in mind for the review. A clearer photo gives you a better basis for checking the foods identified.
Check the dish and serving
In FittyUp, scan the photo and review the proposed foods. Check the name, serving and estimated calories, protein, carbs and fat. Chicken rice from two shops can have different portions; a familiar dish name does not make the estimate exact.
Correct before you log
Edit details that do not match what you ate. For packaged soy milk, the label is a useful reference for the product and amount. If the photo result is not useful, choose another logging method instead of saving an estimate you do not trust.
Confirm the diary entry
A scan result is a proposal. Confirm Log when the foods and amounts look right, then check your food diary. Continuing into AI chat is a separate choice; taking a photo does not mean you have started a saved conversation.
Nutrition values are estimates. Check ingredients yourself if you have allergies. FittyUp supports general wellness and does not replace medical advice.
